Iran Flag Project defines a standardised specification for the Iranian Lion and Sun flag. It establishes the flag as a precise framework with fixed proportions, defined colour values, and a standardised emblem design.
The standard is based on a widely used modern vector design that has become the most commonly circulated version of the flag among Iranian communities. The specification formalises this design into a consistent system.
Four versions are provided: English, bilingual English–Persian, Persian, and Persian Latin. Each version contains the same specification in its respective language and script.
